Achieve More with Assistive Technology Supports
Our Assistive Technology (AT) Assessment services are designed to support individuals, educational professionals, and families in identifying AT tools and strategies that will foster advancement towards individualized goal and objective achievement. Our Assessments are team based, and so together, our mission is to empower individuals with the ability to meet their goals, and develop and reach their potential.
Assessment Components
- Personalized review of the individual’s abilities, goals, and history as reported by families, professionals, school district personnel, and evidenced in educational plans and assessments.
- On-site visit to observe the individual’s performance and environmental supports and barriers. This visit is essential in determining appropriate recommendations for each distinct situation.
- On-site visit to work directly with the individual to pilot the use of individualized selections of AT equipment, products, and solutions.
- Comprehensive written report with recommendations for assistive technology.
- Participation in a scheduled team meeting to discuss the AT recommendations provided in the written report. (Upon request)
